America Is The Cheapest

Our flight from New Zealand to Peru will be taking us through the City of Angels, where we will be "laying over" for a little more than twenty-four hours. These will no doubt be filled with the required amounts of mexican food and Yuu-Yuu's. And there may also be some drinking. If you plan on being in LA on the eve of Nov. 17th, please give us a "holla". It would be nice to see some old friends.

Here is my "holla." I will want to party with y'alls. And it's sweet because that Thursday is right before one of my RDOs. So I can get completely wasted.

It's been faaar too long since I've treated y'alls with my stunning rendition of Material Girl.

And I've gotten wind of the Peruvian developments. I should be hooking our girl Lehra up with a flight pronto.

Isn't that cheating? I'm going to miss you by a week. Leaving LA on the 12th.

I agree with Jimmy. It's totally cheating. If you set one foot in LA, you'll be honour bound to start the whole OC all over again from scratch, beginning by throwing us another bash in NYC (*yey*)

And then you'll have another crossing of Siberia to look forward too!

Andrew - Wicked! Stay tuned for more details. Dinner/drinks/karaoke are probably in the works.

Nuno - RDO? Can not wait for the Material Girl to return.

Jimmy - You are right. It does feel a bit like cheating, but we had to balance the demands of purity and the demands of spending the smallest amount of money possible on airfare. In our defense, we are spending the minimum amount of time possible in the US so as to retain >some< cred.

Argh. I wrote an elaborate explanation and Blogger ate it.

I work the Alternate Work Schedule here at Aerospace. I work an extra hour Mondays through Thursday in order to get every other Friday off. Those Fridays are my Regular Days Off, or RDOs. The other Fridays I work eight hours.

Now that Eileen is focused on Yuu-Yuus, the party is sure to be on.
