Photo Album: Eclipse

We barely made it to the eclipse near the Egyptian-Lybian border. Be amazed.

Finally! The eclipse was at least SEVERAL HOURS ago... I demand more immediate gratification in the future.

Very cool indeed guys - I particularly liked the high-end optics you used to protect the camera. Tycho Brahe and Nicky Copernicus would have been most proud - as would al-Khwarizmi. I know, you're saying "I thought a-K invented algebra?" and of course, you'd be right - but he was also quite the mack-dad at predicting eclipses (eclipsi?).

Great pictures... I may not have been able to benefit from the harmonious effects of the event myself, but the pictures certainly filled me with a sense of inner peace.

Shukran, (chokrane?)

Yes. Yes. That is exactly what I was saying. I wasn't just sitting in front of my computer with a look of slack-jawed confusion.
I swear.

GREAT pics guys! Best OC-age in weeks!

I'll bet all the nerds were jealous as hell of your sunglasses-plopped-on-a-microscope rig --- they'll all be at it next eclipse!
